A SOUTH Cumbria town's last bank has said its final farewell.
The last remaining bank in Grange officially closed its doors yesterday after 'a careful review' made by Lloyds Bank bosses.
A spokesman for Lloyds Bank previously said: "We have made the difficult decision to close this branch because customers are using it less often.
"In addition the majority of customers are also using alternative ways to bank."
Westmorland and Lonsdale MP Tim Farron said the news was 'another huge blow to the community in Grange.'
In replacement of the bank, a mobile Lloyds Bank branch is set to become available at Windermere Road Car Park once a week.
The mobile bank will be open on a weekly basis on a Wednesday from 10.15am until as well as 12.45pm until 2.45pm on the same day.
