CUMBRIA police have offered the family of PC Andrew Harper tributes and condolences.
PC Harper was killed on Thursday while responding to a burglary in the Berkshire village of Sulhamstead.
A spokesperson on behalf of Cumbria police said: "Our thoughts are with PC Andrew Harper's family and colleagues at Thames Valley Police.
"The Cumbria Police family stands with you."
Since the incident, ten people aged between 13 and 30 from around the area were arrested on suspicion of the officer's death, with reports stating he was mown down by a vehicle.
