BARROW Men’s Group walk leader Stephen Newton is holding a family walk in aid of mental health in males.
The walk will start on Abbey Road on Friday August 23, through the town and onto Barrow Town Hall.
Mr Newton is a member of the men’s group which tackle mental health issues in men in Furness.
He said: “The walk will be led by myself and will see men, women and children join for a community walk to raise awareness of mental health in males.
“I’ll be planning more events in the coming months too.”
The group meet on Mondays at Barrow Raiders’ Craven Park at 7pm.
