Power up the North front image
Barrow Library hosted a special event at Furness Abbey,
More than 100 children and parents all turned up for the Summer Story Walk.
They all listened to the telling of The Way Back Home by Oliver Jeffers.
They then heard from local author and historian Gill Jepson, who gave a talk, introducing the visitors to the Abbey.
The library posted to their Facebook account to thank everyone who attended.
They said: "What a fantastic morning we've had at the beautiful Furness Abbey,105 people joined us for Summer Story Walk.
"Huge Thank You to everyone who came and to the lovely Furness Abbey staff for having us."
