OFFICERS are investigating a burglary at a waste and recycling centre.
Police said a number of people had entered the secure HWRC waste and recycling site on Park Road in Barrow on Sunday evening.
It is said to have happened between 6pm on August 11 and 7.30am on August 12.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: "Unknown persons have entered the secure compound by unknown means where they have searched the scrap metal skip and clothes skips, it is unknown if anything has been taken."
