BARROW'S Dock Museum held its own 'War On Plastics' event at the weekend in a bid to help tackle what has become a global issue at a local level.
The free event held yesterday aimed to encourage museum-goers to cut out single-use plastic and included plenty of fun and inspiring activities to engage visitors.
Local street entertainer, Gary Bridgens was present to help to spread the campaigns message of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
There was also plenty of activities to engage children.
The event was held from 11am until 4pm.
A spokesperson from the Dock Museum said: "At The Dock Museum we know we can do better.
"We are committed to phasing out our single-use plastics."
