BARROW’S High Street has been recognised as a Rising Star in The Great British High Street Awards.
The past 12 months have seen Barrow BID produce a Programme of Improvement document and deliver various projects, initiatives and events in Barrow's town centre.
The Programme of Improvement and their success stories over the past 12 months have led to The Great British High Street Awards identifying Barrow as a Rising Star and commending Barrow BID on the implementation of initiatives and their future plans to transform the town and it's high street.
Colin Garnett, BID Manager said, "At Barrow BID we understand that it is early days in our task to transform Barrow's town centre, but we are proud of our achievements over the past 12 months and it is fantastic to be recognised by the Great British High Street awards, which judges towns across the British Isles."
Barrow's High Street will be judged by the Great British High Street panel towards the end of August and their marks will make up 80 per cent of the score, however, you can help Barrow to win the award and a cash boost for the town by voting for Barrow's High Street by clicking here.
