A LANE has reopened on the M40 and traffic returned to normal following a crash near Bicester this afternoon.
The collision involved a van and vehicles Southbound from J10 Cherwell Valley Services to J9 for Bicester.
#Oxfordshire please be aware there are long delays on the #M40 southbound between J10 (#A43) and J9 (#Bicester #Oxford) adding at least 30 minutes to normal journey times, spanning approx. 3 miles. Please plan ahead if travelling this afternoon.

The Oxford Mail's live traffic feed was showing delays of around 50 minutes at 6pm.
Two lanes were initially closed following the incident at around 4.30pm but Highways England confirmed that a restriction had been lifted leaving only one lane blocked as recovery and clean-up continue.
Traffic was also heavily affected on the northbound side due to people looking over.
