Gill Banks Action Group volunteers teamed up with Ulverston in Bloom to trim the overhanging greenery from Cumbria Way. A representative from Incredible Edible Ulverston & Ulverston in Bloom, said: "Five volunteers from the Gill Banks Action Group have been busy this morning cutting back overhanging greenery from the start of the Cumbria Way, cutting back very large brambles and clearing a fallen tree branch.
"We have also checked the result of seeding a meadow development area with Yellow Rattle and are pleased to report that this is doing very well.
