A GRANMOTHER has launched a desperate plea to help reunite her seven-year-old grandson with his stolen bike.

Joanne Scott, of Bousteads Grassing, Denton Holme, said the £200 bike, which was bought as a Christmas present was taken outside her home on Sunday afternoon.

She told the News & Star: "He was out playing with his bike outside the house between 2pm and 3pm on Sunday, then left it in the front garden.

"The bike was a present, it is in a new condition, and has only been used a handful of times.

"Someone must have seen something, or have spotted it elsewhere in Carlisle.

"If anyone has any information, please get in touch and help me reunite my grandson with his bike."

The bike is described as a Carrera Blast Junior Mountain Bike, which is dark blue and has red handlebars.

Joanne is asking anyone who knows anything to come forward.

Anyone with information about the bike should contact Joanne by calling 07707273623 or emailing joannescott428@gmail.com
