BACK IN ACTION: Fish and chips from the Old Smithy in Barrow
A BELOVED fish and chip shop has returned to a takeaway app after a huge demand for orders.
The Old Smithy in Roose took a break from the Barrow Eats app after customers across Barrow inundated the shop with orders.
Barrow Eats bosses said they had worked with the chip shop to ensure it could cope with the demand.
The shop has hired more staff, purchased more equipment and is said to ready to deliver fish and chips to the door.
It is available between Monday and Thursday.
