PUPILS from a school summed up their year in a special school assembly.
Year Six classes from Greengate Junior School in Barrow came together to deliver the assemblies as they prepared to leave the school after four years.
They shared their favourite memories from their time at the school and entertained the audience with funny stories and sketches.
Class 6A's display focused on what they thought life had 'really' been like in the class this year.
In 6H's assembly, the children decided to take people on a tour of the open seas.
They revealed all the special treasures that Greengate had taught them over the four years
As the Year Sixes prepared to finish their journey at the school, Greengate held a transition day, going from infants to juniors. The school said: "The sun shone down on our annual get together with our feeder schools. The theme this year was ‘Around the World’ in a hot air balloon and each infant and junior class performed an item from their chosen country.
"The afternoon was colourful and great fun, and lots of our friends, family and local community members turned out to support us."
