A BARROW man is to appear in court today charged with assault on an emergency worker.
Tim Leary, 43, from Ormsgill has been charged in connection with two burglaries and an assault on an emergency worker, police said.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Furness & District Magistrates' Court today.
A police spokesperson said: “Well done to PC Greg Howard of the pro-active team, unit 2, the CID officers and all involved.”
Leary was first arrested on Friday evening.
