MILLOM Coordination Group Publications (CGP) have sent out a call to any groups and organisation within the boundary of the town’s council to apply for the company's Trust Fund.
Applicants can apply for fund, designed for a wide range of benefits including financial support for community events, or improving public facilities.
The funds could also be used to repair public buildings: for example, churches.
Several groups have already benefited such as Millom's KD School of Dance (£700); Millom Amateur Operatic Society (£1,000); and Millom Rugby Union Club (£1,300).
The application deadline is September 18.
