POLICE are carrying out an investigation after a burglary at a property in South Lakes.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses of a burglary that took place at a property in the area of Hawkshead between 12.30pm on Thursday June 27 and 12.15pm on Saturday June 29.
Police said that entry had been forced into the property and items of jewellery were taken.
Police are keen to identify those responsible for the theft.
Anyone with information or anyone who witnessed persons in the area during this period has been asked to call 101 quoting log number 186 of the 29th of June 2019.
