The popular cafe has been based at the bottom of Dalton Road, Barrow for more than 20 years, but now owners Lisa Clark and Ismail Kaya have announced they are moving to a new premises in the town centre and have exciting plans to expand the business going forward.

They are yet to announce the location of the new cafe but have promised to let customers know in the coming weeks.

“Coffee Bean is the longest running cafe in town, it’s been open for around 22 years now.

“It’s been really good.

“We’ve always listened to our customers and adapted what we were doing to suit them.

“We like having that relationship with them.”

Looking to the future, she said: “We moving to a bigger building and looking to expand the business.

“All the staff are coming with us and the move will create more opportunities to bring on more staff.

“We want to be able to offer delivery and also look at doing a themed evening once a week.

“We want to offer somewhere to go in the evening with children that offers a friendly atmosphere.

“We’re obviously sad to be leaving but excited for what comes next.

“It’s the end of a chapter but the start of a new one.

Miss Clark said she wanted to thank everyone who had supported the business.

She said: “We want to say a massive thank you to all of our staff and of course all the customers.
