THOUGHTLESS: A car parked on the junction of Newton Street
RESIDENTS have called for motorists to give more thought to where they park.
A resident living near Newton Street, close to Millom Infant School, took a photograph of a Mini parked perilously close to the junction with Lapstone Road.
Given the proximity to the school residents called for motorists to park more considerately and to think about the dangers presented to children trying to cross the road.
Motorists should not park opposite or within 10 metres of a junction except in an authorised parking space.
