FUNDRAISE: Thousands have been raised on Barrow Island
Thousands of pounds have been raised by community events in Barrow this summer.
More than £4,000 has been raised so far this summer by community events on Barrow Island.
Barrow Island Community and Sports Trust Ltd organised junior rugby and football tournaments on June 22 and 23 and a dance gala on June 30..
The money raised will help keep costs down for groups using the Cavendish Park facility on Barrow Island.
The next fundraiser will be the Fudstock music event on 31 August from noon to 9pm.
