Early morning vehicle fire sees crews rescue trapped person
TWO fire crews were needed for a early-hours call this morning after reports of a vehicle fire with a person trapped.
At around 4.30am this morning two fire engines from Ulverston and one from Grange went to the A595, Haverthwaite to the vehicle fire incident.
Fire fighters quickly released one casualty using holmatro cutting gear.
Police and ambulance were also in attendance.
Fire crews remained at the incident for half an hour.
