ULVERSTON will be thrown back to the past this weekend for a programme of retro fun.
Retro Rendezvous is a full weekend of Music, food, dance, cinema, clothes, markets, cars, motorcycles, drink and the famous Velo Retro old school cycling events through the Lake District World Heritage Site.
The rides range from an easy 20km family and vintage route, to a challenging 85km tour of the South Lakes.
The Roxy, Ulverston’s very own art deco cinema, will be showing Dirty Dancing as part of the festival.
The full package includes cocktails accompanied by retro music, then a glamourous stroll upstairs to view the film.
Classic cars will also be exhibited across the town between 10am and 4pm.
Car owners are being asked to register to display theirs.
Retro Rendezvous takes place from July 12 and July 14.
