FIREFIGHTERS were called out after a vehicle hit a property near Broughton.
At 5.44am this morning two fire engines from Broughton and Ulverston were called to a report of a building fire at Foxfield.
On arrival crews said they found a fire in the roof space of a building caused by a vehicle hitting the property.
The fire was extinguished using four breathing apparatus, three hose reel jets, a twelve metre and nine metre ladder.
Fire crews were at the scene for around two hours and forty-five minutes.
