MORE than 120 musicians will be raising the roof of Grange’s Victoria Hall on Saturday.
Two orchestras and two choirs composed of the Furness Music Centre Choir and Orchestra, the Windermere Orchestra and the Bay Community Singers will be performing in a unique concert from 7.30pm.
A variety of pieces will be played throughout the evening including music from Bargiel performed by cello soloist Heather Ball as well as more music from Gilpin, Beethoven, Stravinsky, Khachaturian, Higgins, Rodgers and Hart and much more.
With a jam-packed programme, the evening will culminate with everyone performing Morricone’s ‘On Earth as it is in Heaven’ from the film ‘The Mission’.
Admission is by ticket only at £10 with under-18s allowed free entry. Tickets are available from Furness Music Centre members or Grange Information Centre who you can contact on 015395 34026.
There will also be a raffle as well as refreshments on offer.
