A TEENAGER has raised hundreds for a local hospice by shaving his head.
Ethan Knowles drummed up £800 for St Mary’s Hospice in Ulverston on his 16th birthday in memory of his grandad John.
He was cared for by St Mary’s Hospice’s at Home team before he passed away in March 2016.
A spokesman for St Mary’s Hospice said: “Well done Ethan, and thank you for the amazing £800 you raised.”
St Mary’s Hospice offers support, care and hope for those at the end of life and their loved ones.
Since 1988 St Mary’s Hospice has been open to patients and their families looking for support with life limiting conditions.
