TOBAR has had to recall two products due to a chemical risk.
The two products are Magic Poo and Unicorn Magic Poo, which is manufactured by Tobar - and regularly supplies products to Barrow's B&M store on Hindpool Road, as well the smaller shop on Dalton Road.
The reason behind the recall was due to the migration of boron from the slime to putty ratio was too high (measured value up to 1300 mg/kg).
The ingestion or contact with an excessive quantity of boron may harm the health of children by damaging their reproductive system.
Therefore the product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-3.
The Batch number and barcode for the products are K17 and K18.
The product's withdrawal is labelled 'serious'.
