A CUMBRIAN community hall is the latest recipient of funding from a leading regional housebuilder.
Ulverston Coronation Hall will receive £1,000 as part of the Persimmon Community Champions scheme.
As well as hosting many festivals in the town, the hall is used by amateur dramatic groups, schools, charities and voluntary groups.
The donation will go towards renovations, which will include re-painting, and new curtains, carpet and furnishings.
The building was previously at risk of closure until three years ago.
