A CASTLE will bring people back to the middle ages at a special event this weekend.
Visitors will get a glimpse of the process of a medieval trail at Dalton Castle on Saturday.
The event is being put on by the Friends of Dalton Castle and Iron Shepherds Living History, a Furness reenactment group.
It start at 2pm and lasts until 4.30pm and is free to attend.
Dalton Castle is at Market Place and is open from 2pm to 5pm throughout the summer until September.
The Friends of Dalton Castle have said anyone join their group and volunteer at the National Trust site.
The 14th-century tower known as Dalton Castle will go back to its roots, being formerly the manorial courthouse of Furness Abbey.
It continued as a courthouse for 300 years after the dissolution of the abbey and was given to the National Trust in 1965.
