“My favourite part was when the authors were telling us some of their stories because they were hilarious!

“Dan Worsley told us a story about a magic wig that beat up bullies!

“I do not have a favourite author because they were all good but if I HAD to choose, I would choose Dan Worsley and Ross Montgomery as they made me giggle.”

Ryan Bentley, Year 6, wrote: “I enjoyed the Book Fest’ a lot yesterday because it was so funny and we were so lucky to be able to meet some famous authors that have books published around the world.

“My favourite part was when we saw Petr Horáĉek illustrates his books as he drew in front of us. He even drew a tortoise for my friend and signed it!

Elisse Hayton, Year 6, wrote: “I really enjoyed the Book Festival because we got to meet these extremely famous people and got the opportunity to buy their books that the authors actually wrote.

“I also liked Ross Montgomery because he was very funny and I got one of his books, ‘Max and the Millions’, and he signed it for me which was amazing.

“My favourite part of the day was when Ross acted out his first chapter of “Christmas Dinner of Souls”.
