GREEN-fingered pupils joined their families to bring life to a school's garden.
School bosses invited families of children at Dane Ghyll in Barrow to help plant flowers in pots .
The children brought their own pots from home and some were unusual, including planting in a dining chair and teacups.
The pots will be displayed around the school and then taken home for their parents and grandparents to enjoy over the summer months, and possibly they will still be flowering into Autumn.
Head gardener Louise Postlethwaite said: “As part of our continued commitment to gardening we opened our gardens to parents and grandparents of all the infant children and what a great afternoon we had. The families of the children were fantastic and have helped plant up some wonderful planters.”
