HELP for Heroes volunteers will be in The Forum on Saturday to raise awareness for medically discharged from the armed forces.
The event will start at 9.30am to coincide with the flag raising ceremony and parade outside the Town Hall and on 29th June, which is Armed Forces Day they will be in Debenhams.
On average, seven people will be medically discharged from the armed forces and their lives will change forever.
In an instant, these highly-trained individuals will lose the camaraderie, purpose and career which has been their life.
Help for Heroes provides recovery and support for the Armed Forces community whose lives are affected by their service, no matter when they served.
Wounded are in pain and struggle with the relentless daily battle of adapting to life with their injuries.
Many will suffer consequences of these injures for life.
