CUMBRIA Fire and Rescue Service were required for a high-rise rescue at Skiddaw Gardens this morning.
Two engines, from Barrow and Ulverston, were on the scene at around 8.30am.
Firefighters rescued one casualty using a triple extension ladder and a roof ladder.
The casualty received first aid from firefighters before being handed to paramedics.
Fire services were on scene for approximately 30 minutes.
