MILLOM Children's Centre is holding a parent-child drop-in day to help young people struggling with learning disabilities, or autism.
The sessions will allow attendees to complete a hospital passport, in the event of admission or attending out patient appointments.
Taking place on Friday between 9am to 3pm, the sessions will aim to support parents in completing passports; develop the importance of using hospital passports; and give pointers - through sharing the group's knowledge and experience.
The drop-in sessions, which will provide essential information for healthcare professionals if a mixed-ability child is admitted to hospital, are in high demand.
As a result, it is recommended to ring ahead as slots are limited.
