FOUR fire engines took three hours to tackle a grass fire.
Crews from Ulverston, Millom, Grange and Milnthorpe were called to a blaze Humphrey Head point, near Grange on Saturday night.
Two wildfire units from Grange and Millom also attended.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "On arrival the crews discovered a fire involving approximately 500 by 100 metres of grass and gorse spreading along the foreshore and cliff edge.
"Wildfire land rovers, high pressure jets, one major base pump, two light portable pumps and wildfire teams were utilised to extinguish the fire."
