SOLD: The house in Abbotsfield Gardens in Barrow
A PROPERTY in need of renovation set on a large plot of land has sold at auction for £70,000 more than the guide price.
The house at Abbotsfield Gardens in Barrow, was sold by Auction House Cumbria at a sale at the Coronation Hall earlier this month.
The property had a guide price of £175,000 which was overwhelmingly smashed by the final sale price of £246,000.
The house was described as being "in need of full refurbishment" and set on a "substantial site".
