HEARING: Hazlett's trial will take place in Barrow
A BARROW man is due to go on trial accused of assaulting a police officer and stalking.
Gavin John Russell Hazlett, of Church Street, denies assaulting PC Jonathan Murray on May 5 and stalking Michelle Kennedy between November and May.
The 42-year-old, represented by Maureen Fawcett, appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court via video link on Thursday and was remanded in custody.
The trial is due to take place at the same court on Friday June 21.
