A huge £123 million EuroMillions jackpot has been won by a ticket holder in the UK, the National Lottery has revealed.

The lucky winner scooped the entirety of the multimillion-pound jackpot prize in Tuesday night’s draw.

A spokesman for the National Lottery said the win put the ticket-holder in third place among the biggest ever lottery wins in the UK.

However, the location where the winning ticket was bought has not yet been revealed.

Players across the country are being urged to check their tickets to see if they can claim the massive prize.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at The National Lottery, said, “This year has been truly incredible for UK EuroMillions players – with four jackpot winners so far on these shores.

“Patrick and Frances Connolly from Northern Ireland won the £114.9 million EuroMillions jackpot in the draw on New Year’s Day, Ade Goodchild banked £71 million in March and an anonymous ticket-holder bagged £35.2 million in April.”

The winning main EuroMillions numbers on Tuesday night were: 25, 27, 39, 42 and 46.
