BARROW Market attendant Susan Rathbone recently passed a First Aid at Work three-day advanced course for customer and trader welfare.
A representative from the market said: "The community can feel assured that if anyone takes ill or has an accident in the market hall a fully trained first aider is on the premises.
"Two further members of staff will be trained in emergency first aid in the near future.
"We always put our customers and traders welfare first."
