A BARROW man has been found not guilty of child sex and cruelty offences.
Robert Gallagher, of Friars Lane, went on trial at Burnley Crown Court on April 15.
The 29-year-old was accused of cruelty to a person under 16 between July 31 2017 and August 18 2018; two counts of sexual assault of a child under 13 between July 31 2017 and August 18 2018; assault by beating on August 18 2018; and assault by beating between July 31 2017 and August 18 of last year.
He was acquitted of all charges.
