Police are investigating the theft of a mobile phone and a bank card.

Detectives said it happened on Tuesday May 28 at Roose Train Station on the Furness Line on Flass Lane.

The victim dropped the phone and his bank card which was picked up.

The victim spoke with a man at the time he dropped the phone.

It happened at approximately 9.20pm.

Police would like to speak with the man.

He is described as white, aged between 21 and 25-years-old and of a slim build.

Police said he was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a black hooded top carrying a blue staffy type dog on a lead.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or information to call PC Stanway on 101.
