Popular children’s author Fay Evans is visiting two Barrow primary schools next week to inspire young readers and share her latest book - Bob's Beard.
The week-long Cumbria tour by the author of rhyming stories for fabulously illustrated books has been organised by Cumbria County Council’s Library Services for Schools team. Fay will be visiting nine primary schools across Cumbria in Barrow, Maryport, Sedbergh, Penrith, Kendal and Cockermouth.
She said: “It’s great to have the opportunity to visit so many schools across Cumbria to meet the children and share my story. I’m really grateful for the help and support of the Library Services for Schools team in organising my first ever ‘mini tour’."
She will be at Ormsgill Primary and St Pius X Primary on June 13.
