TOWN: Applications can be accepted by the Millom area
Applications for the Silecroft School Educational Charity's funding scheme are now open.
The charity provides educational and training services to centres, organisations and schools for the local area, including Millom and Haverigg.
The scheme is aimed at providing assistance for further education books, study aids or equipment, but does not apply to Sixth Form classes.
Applicants must live in the parishes of Millom, Millom Without, Whicham and Ulpha.
Annual applications can be sent in September, closing date Tuesday 15th October, or by the end of February.
Meetings for the scheme are held twice a year.
