LIAM Gallagher, Take That and even the Teletubbies are coming to Barrow - but on the big screen.

Vue Barrow is showing Liam Gallagher: As It Was, which details the rebirth of the former Oasis frontman.

As he leaves behind his legacy of the 1990s, the legendary Mancunian rocker recounts his journey to resurgence with cutting honesty.

On Thursday, June 6, fans are granted access to Gallagher’s experience of the highs and lows of fame, followed by a live set broadcast from Alexandra Palace to the Barrow cinema.

Take That continue their return to the stage too, as their 30th anniversary stadium tour arrives in Cardiff.

Playing fan favourites from the last three decades, the supergroup promise to impress, as previous tours featured giant walls of water, holograms, and band members suspended in the air.

Take That: Greatest Hits Live will be broadcast live at Vue Barrow, on Saturday, June 8.

Also, featured at Vue next week June will be the Teletubbies bringing five music and dance themed episodes in Teletubbies Songtime At The Cinema to the Barrow venue on Friday, June 7.

Kids and adults alike can singalong and dance with Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po to their favourite nursery rhymes, Teletubby style.

Johnny Carr, Event Cinema manager at Vue UK and Ireland, said they were very excited about being able to bring some massive musical and TV performances to the big screen in June: "It’s great to be able to give music fans in particular the chance to see the concerts they might be unable to attend.

"Fans will feel like they’re almost there, as Vue can deliver the shows in the highest picture quality and with massive sound."
