Woman fined after being caught driving at 91mph
A Whitehaven woman who was caught driving at 91mph on the A595 has found herself in court.
Michelle Fowler, 37, of North Road, Whitehaven, was caught exceeding the speed limit on the Distington Bypass on October 22 last year.
She admitted the offence when she appeared at West Cumbria Magistrates' Court in Workington on May 29.
Fowler was fined £40 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £30 costs.
Her driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.
