A ROAD is closed due to a damaged barn.
The B5343 at Old Langdale Road in Great Langdale is closed.
In a post on Facebook, the National Trust said:
"Great Langdale is currently unaccessible via Chapel Stile due to barn damage.
"Please do NOT try to access the valley via this route at the current time. Access only via Blea Tarn to: New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel; The Old Dungeon Ghyll Hotel; Great Langdale Bunkhouse; Greenhowe Luxury Lodges and Pet Friendly Caravans; and Great Langdale Campsite.
"Police and Fire services are en route and we will update as soon as the road is clear."
