CRASH: Man, 33, taken to hospital after van crash
POLICE were called out after a crash in Millom.
Shortly after midnight yesterday police were called to a crash involving a van leaving the carriageway on the A5093 Millom.
The driver of the Fiat Scudo, a 33-year-old man from Millom, was taken to Furness General hospital.
Police said he has since been discharged with injuries believed to be minor. Firefighters and paramedics were also called.
The road between Salthouse Road junction and Huddleston Road was closed whilst investigations were carried out.
