Petrol stations poured on the misery for bank holiday travellers pushing the average pump price of petrol to 130.34p a litre yesterday – the first time the petrol price has been above 130p a litre since November 5 2018.
The pump price of diesel now averages 135.26p a litre, also at its highest since 22 November 2018.
Petrol car owners are paying £2.35 a tank more for their fuel than at the start of Easter.
