GREENGATE Junior School pupils performed an assembly on resilience as part of a mental health focus at the school.
Currently teachers are using meditation and relaxation techniques, art as therapy, well-being clubs and other assemblies for body image, mentoring and leadership.
Deputy headteacher and Year Six teacher Paula Hillman said: "Our school has been building up this provision for a number of years and it is now becoming part of how we work.
"We think there is something within our well-being curriculum for every child to dip into and use in a positive way. "And it's helping teachers too."
