CAMP Cumbria’s South Camp is ready for the summer sun after being awarded a ‘Good’ report from Ofsted.
It is the first time the camp has opened since the official Ofsted report in August last year for its South Camp, which covers areas such as Barrow, Millom, Dalton, Kendal, and further south.
Camp director Tony Martinez said: “As well as showing how hard we’re working to reach the standards needed, the rating is useful for parents to let them know their children are in good hands.
“We hold various outdoor and sport activities throughout the day, but we don’t stop there - we also run science experimental courses throughout the week.
“This will be our fourth year and it’s great to show the public we are Ofsted regulated.”
The camp will open to the public on Monday July 22 and provides activities for children aged between four to 13.
