THE next mayor of Dalton is due to be unveiled at the town's annual council meeting on Monday.
Dalton and Newton Town Council will come together to look ahead to the next year and honour some of the town's heroes from the past 12 months.
Councillor Nick Perie, who previously served as deputy mayor, is expected to be named a mayor for 2019/20, taking over from the current mayor Sam Ronson.
The meeting starts at 7pm at Dalton Town Hall in Station Road and is open to everyone to attend.
