Excited children were covered in a rainbow of colour as St Bees youngsters raised money for charity.
The village primary school held a mini colour run last week in aid of Hospice at Home West Cumbria.
Pupils, wearing funky sunglasses, ran laps of the school field while staff drenched them with powder paint resulting in a colourful explosion.
Laughter rang out across the field as children from pre-school up to Year 6 took part in the sponsored event. Even parents pulled on their old clothes to support the charity.
Headteacher Emma Sharp – who joined in the fun – said: “We had a fabulous time, even the weather was kind to us.”
