POLICE: Attempted burglary at allotments sparks police appeal
INVESTIGATIONS are under way after an attempted burglary at a Walney allotment.
Police were called at around 10:10pm on Saturday May 11 to the report of an attempted burglary at the allotments on Melampus Street.
The incident is believed to have occurred between 5:30pm on May 6 and 10:30am on May 11.
Police said nothing was taken during the incident.
Anyone with information or anyone who witnessed the incident has been asked to contact Cumbria Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
